LAST WEEK'S TBRIC:

I finally finished Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready. Yay! And it was awesome! The ending is beautiful and I love Logan and Zach even more in this book, especially Logan (oh I miss him). If you haven't read this series, YOU HAVE TO. It's one of my most favorites stories ever. I'll try to post my review this week.

THIS WEEK'S TBRIC:
Silent Song by Ron C. Nieto
Publication Date: July 1st 2012

The princess of the school, Alice, is keeping a secret that could strip her of her high school fame. She is obsessed with the school’s outcast, Keith, but not just him – his music.

Since the inspiration for the song hit, Keith can’t get it out of his mind. The song must be played; it demands to be played. He knows the music is changing him, but he is unable to stop it.

Music has the ability to move you, enlighten you, and take you to places you have never dreamed of. And this particular piece? It has a life of its own and makes you forget who you really are.

As Keith and Alice learn of one another to the notes of that one perfect tune, they can overlook their roles and discover who they could be together. But they also discover someone else is listening and intends on keeping Keith to herself, possibly for an eternity.
I plan to read Silent Song by Ron C. Nieto so I'll be ready for the tour. Yes, you heard me, it's Ron @ Stories of My Life :) I'm so happy to be a part of this tour and I'm excited to finish the book and tell you my thoughts about it. I'm not really good in writing reviews and I'm a bit nervous that I may not be able to write a proper one for Ron's book. But I promise, I will always be honest about it. Ron, are you nervous, too? hehe.

My schedule changed BIG time now that school has started and I'm trying to read whenever I find some free time (which is scarce). It was a great week though, seeing my child's big smile whenever I tell him it's time to go to school. So even though I only have a few minutes/hours to read, it's ok cos the week has been so rewarding :)

How's your week?

  3. You finally finished Shine! Yay! *claps* As for me, I'm the one that had a somewhat a disastrous week when it comes to my TBRIC. *sigh*

And you're reading Ron's book this week. To tell you the truth, I didn't know that Ron is an author.

  4. *points with a ridiculously huge grin* Waahhh!! That's my cover! Hehehe! I hope you'll enjoy it, April! Don't be nervous about the review either: just be you! :)

And yes... I'm terribly, awfully nervous about the upcoming tour. I love Keith so much, and Alice too, but I'm so worried that the rest of the world won't feel the same way! I've been toying with an idea or two... but resolution will wait until after the tour, hehehe!

So, happy reading this week! And best of lucks to your kid! He's all grown up now, going to school... Bet you're super proud!

    Hugs!
