It's amazing to be part of this cover reveal, and I wanna thank AToMR Tours for this awesome opportunity. And of course, a huge thanks to Author Abbi Glines for creating such a wonderful series!

Just for Now, the 4th book in the Sea Breeze Series is expected to be released on October 23, 2012. The cover was designed by Stephanie Mooney of Mooney Designs, and the book trailer by Hellion Works.

Title: Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4)
Age Group/Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Expected Release: October 23, 2012
Cover Design: Mooney Designs
Book trailer created by: Hellion Works
Cover reveal organized by: AToMR Tours

Book Description:
The day Preston Drake figured out that wealthy women paid well for a set of tight abs and a pretty face his life turned around.

The run down rat-infested trailer he had shared with his alcoholic mother and three younger siblings was now only a place he visited to pay the bills and stock the pantry with food.

He no longer worried about his family starving or living without electricity. The money he made entertaining rich older women more than covered his family’s needs and his own. He had it all figured out. Except…

There was this girl.

She was as innocent as he was tainted.

Amanda Hardy wished her knees didn’t get weak when Preston walked into a room. She hated the fact her heart raced when he flashed his smile in her direction. He had a different girl in his bed every night. He was the kind of boy a smart girl ran from. So, why was she coming up with ways to get close to him? Even when it was obvious he wanted to keep her at a distance.

Maybe her heart knew something the world didn’t. Maybe Preston Drake was more than just a pretty face.

My Never-Ending Booknotes: Because of Low by Abbi Glines

MNever-Ending Booknotes features my favorite lines/dialogue/quotes from the books I already finished or currently reading. I'm going to post every Wednesday, and if you want to share your favorite quotes, please feel free to do so. I would be so happy and excited to read them. Who knows, we might have the same favorites! :)

I love the Sea Breeze Series by Abbi Glines, and last time I featured While It Lasts (Sea Breeze #3) in my Never-Ending Booknotes. If you haven't seen it yet, you can still read my post here. Today, I picked Because of Low, my most favorite of all the Sea Breeze books yet.
Add to TBR
"Why the hell does she run off to him all the time? I don't get it!"

"Because he's her safe house. As screwed up as it is considering who we're talking about. Cage cares about one thing in the world and it's Low. He's been fighting her battles and fixing her problems since they were kids. We all lived on the same street. I remember watching them. It always fascinated me how bad boy Cage York acted like a love sick puppy when it comes to her. She fell down he came running. You want her, then good luck. Because every time you aren't there to pick her up I can assure you Cage will be. She knows she can call him. She knows no matter what he'll love her. Unconditional love is hard to compete with."

* * * *
I grabbed hold of the chair beside me. My knees went weak. The ache hearing Larissa ask for Willow was nothing compared to the pain searing through my chest. The things I'd said. Oh, God, no.

"She's been left her whole life. She's a good girl. Larissa adores her. Where her sister lacks in many honorable traits Willow seems to have them in abundance."

I'd left her.
Just like she feared.

Do you have some favorite lines to share?

Book Review: WHILE IT LASTS by Abbi Glines

While It Lasts (Sea Breeze #3)
Author: Abbi Glines
Published: July 31st 2012
Format: Kindle Edition
Genre: Mature YA, Contemporary Romance

Summary | Add to TBR
Maybe driving home after a few (or more) shots of tequila had been a bad idea, but hell, he did it all the time. The cops had to have been freaking bored to have pulled him over. He wasn’t even swerving! That’s Cage York’s story and he’s sticking to it.

Unfortunately, his baseball coach isn’t buying it. Cage has a free ride to the local junior college for baseball -- or he did, until he’d gotten a DUI. Now, Cage has to decide: does he drop out and give up his dream of getting noticed by a college in the SEC, and possibly making it into the Major Leagues -- or does he give in to his coach’s demands and spend his summer baling hay?

Eva Brooks planned out her life step by step when she was eight years old. Not once over the years had she lost sight of her goals. Josh Beasley, her next door neighbor, had been the center of those goals. He’d been her first boyfriend at seven, her first kiss at ten, her first date at fifteen, and her first tragedy at eighteen. The moment she’d received the phone call from Josh’s mother saying he’d been killed along with four other soldiers just north of Baghdad, Eva’s carefully planned life imploded in the worst way possible.

Cage isn’t real happy with his closet-sized bedroom in the back of a foul smelling barn, or his daily interactions with cows, but he knows that if he doesn’t make his coach happy then he can kiss his scholarship goodbye. Only a sick and twisted man would decide his punishment was to be working on a farm all summer. No hot babes in bikinis waiting to meet a Southern boy to make her vacation complete. Just him and the damned cows.

Oh -- and an uptight, snarky brunette with the biggest blue eyes he’s every seen. But she doesn’t count, because as hard as he’s tried to charm her out of her panties - he’s pretty sure she’d rather see him hung from the rafters than let him get a taste of her pretty little lips.
My Thoughts:

When I learned that While It Lasts is already available for download a day early, I immediately grabbed a copy! I waited so long for this book and I won't pass an opportunity to read it as soon as it hit the market. I didn't know how good it will be but as high as my expectation was, it absolutely lived up to that. While It Lasts is one of those books that you can't seem to get enough of. It was as good as Abbi Glines other novels, which reminds me why I love her writing. And even though Because of Low is still my most favorite of all her novels, While It Lasts definitely comes next.

Eva Brooks couldn't let go of her dead fiance. She still wears that ring that Josh gave her before he was killed in Baghdad. She never thought that Cage's arrival at their farmhouse will be her way to heal and to love again. But she's confused whether she's ready to give up everything--including Josh--and let herself fall for Cage. He was an absolute opposite of Josh. Josh who was always good, a guy that you can easily and proudly introduce to your parents and family. Cage was different, but she knows that there is something about him than his hot body and pretty face. There is so much more about Cage.
Cage was free and wild. He was like a beautiful bird you could never own. - Eva
Cage York, the bad and the naughty guy who bang almost every available girl that runs into him, now finds his perfect girl--Eva Brooks. It wasn't love at first sight for Eva, but it was definitely something for Cage. And though as he admits that panties is in his priority list when it comes to girls, Cage couldn't deny the fact that he's starting to break for this girl, and maybe...finally…he's falling in love.
"You are sick," I said through my appalled laughter.

"Who me? You were the one listening at my door. What was it you were hoping to hear, Eva? If I'd known you were coming in hopes of a show I could have been more prepared."
I don't think that words will be enough to convey my feelings about this book. Reading Cage's story and seeing his thoughts made me love him even more. He'd been through a difficult childhood and his life has never been easy. When I finally see the real Cage, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. It was heartbreaking to see how he really feels. He thinks that he doesn't deserve to be loved, he doesn't even think he has a soul. He's broken and he tries to deal with things in his own terms…until he met Eva Brooks, who happens to be someone he couldn't possibly have.

There are lines in the book that nearly broke my heart. Because as much as these two amazing and witty people made me smile (often) and grin (wider), they made my heart melt and break most of the times. I think that these two will always fit each other perfectly no matter how you put them together. I also loved how the story made me love Low even more, made me want more Marcus (please Abbi), and made me excited for whatever Abbi has in store for us. I find myself looking back to one of my most deeply-loved memories with this series while given a glimpse of something more to come in the future. I don't think I could ever get enough of Sea Breeze
I dropped my head to my hands. Why had I let myself care?
I wasn't the keeping kind. I'd learned at a young age that women didn't keep me. When a guy's momma don't want him, why… should anyone else?

I'd learned at an early age that self-preservation was the only way to survive with your soul intact.
Or maybe I'd lost my soul already. I doubted God let someone like me to keep any gift from him. It was likely I'd been born without one. - Cage

* * * *
I'd only known how it felt to love someone who loved me just as fiercely... I'd never wanted someone who didn't want me. The longing didn't go away with rejection. - Eva
One boy who thinks bad about himself and who doesn't think he can actually love and care deeply for a girl, and a girl who doesn't expect to be healed by a boy and be given a second chance in love…in life. These two amazing characters will make your knees wobble with anticipation. You'll love them, you'll feel for them, you might even break your heart for them.

If you loved the Cage York in Because of Low, you'll absolutely love him even more in this book! The humor and the funny moments in this book compensates the emotional aspect of the story, thus making this a very satisfying and delicious read. It's perfect for summer, it's perfect for any weather!

This book, just as the rest of the Sea Breeze series is highly engrossing and very entertaining. I read it in one day! I totally loved it. I recommend While It Lasts. I recommend Sea Breeze Series. I recommend Abbi Glines!

My Never-Ending Booknotes: While It Lasts by Abbi Glines

MNever-Ending Booknotes will feature my favorite lines/dialogue/quotes from the books I already finished or currently reading. I'm going to post every Wednesday, and if you want to share your favorite quotes, please feel free to do so. I would be so happy and excited to read them. Who knows, we might have the same favorites! :)

While It Lasts by Abbi Glines is now available for download :) It came up one day early and I grabbed the book immediately! I was waiting for it since the time I finished her two previous novels in the Sea Breeze series: Breathe and Because of Low (Please see my reviews). I loved Cage in Because of Low, and it was so interesting to see his mind in While It Lasts. The bad (and naughty) guy finally found his girl--Eva, and I dare you to read their steamy but sweet story. If you read Because of Low and loved Cage, you'll love him even more in While It Lasts.  So today, My NEBN would be from this book, and I picked two.  There's just too many to quote and I thought it would be nice to see a few:

"If she's smart enough to let you in, the real you, not the one you share with the females whose panties you just want to get in, then she's a smart woman."

It ain't about her panties." I replied, reaching down to squeeze her hand.

"No, Cage with you, it is about her panties at least a little bit. But I think that maybe this time you want more."

Did I want more? Was it just because she was so damn hard to get? Or did I really want more?

"Yeah, you're right. The panties are always on my priority list."

* * * *
Low took a step toward me, "And I know anyone you let get close to you the way you let Eva won't be able NOT to love you. It would be impossible. You have no idea how special you are. You see the bad. You've always just seen the bad. But I see the good. There is so much that is good and wonderful about you. You let Eva see that. You've never let anyone see it before, except me. But you let her. I know, that she can't help but love what she saw."

Book Review: BREATHE by Abbi Glines

Breathe (Sea Breeze #1)
Author: Abbi Glines
Publication Date: May 17th 2011
Publisher: Wild Child Publishing
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Romance

Summary | Add to TBR
Sadie White's summer job isn't going to be on the beach life-guarding or working at rental booths like most kids her age. With her single mother's increasing pregnancy and refusal to work, Sadie has to take over her mother's job as a domestic servant for one of the wealthy summer families on a nearby island.

When the family arrives at their summer getaway, Sadie is surprised to learn that the owner of the house is Jax Stone, one of the hottest teen rockers in the world. If Sadie hadn't spent her life raising her mother and taking care of the house she might have been normal enough to be excited about working for a rock star.

Even though Sadie isn't impressed by Jax's fame, he is drawn to her. Everything about Sadie fascinates Jax but he fights his attraction. Relationship's never work in his world and as badly as he wants Sadie, he believes she deserves more. By the end of the summer, Jax discovers he can't breathe without Sadie.

My Thoughts:

What if you meet the famous and most loved rock star of the generation and he happens to fall in love with you? That was what happened to Sadie White when she was forced to work at Stone's summer house as a kitchen helper in place of her very pregnant mother. But then, not everything goes smoothly. With her mother about to bring out another child, and Jax being popular and target of all intrigues, Sadie's life would never be the same again.

I've read Sea Breeze #2: Because of Low before Breathe, and it was nice to see Marcus Hardy again in this book. Now I know the whole story before he fell in love with Willow in book 2. I saw the resemblance between Sadie and Low, and just like what Marcus said, both girls are special and rare. Sadie White is a smart, gorgeous girl that is mature enough for her age. She has a lot of things on her shoulders and it was amazing how she keep up with everything in her life. She's tough and responsible and kind-hearted. She's different from any other girls and that's why Jax fell in love with her instantly.  And I liked Jax. Not only because he's gorgeous but he also has a good heart.
"I know sometimes life with me is hard to handle. I get caught up in the lights and the crowd. But you're the reason I keep on playing. Without you girl, it would all die down..." - Jax Stone (singing)
"I want whatever part of you I can have." - Sadie
The story is simple but absorbing. Once you start, it will be hard to put down. There were couple of cheesy moments, but nothing that is too much for a romantic reader. I am confident to say that is purely YA novel, and unlike the second book, this one is totally wholesome. But whatever steamy moments this book was lacking, book two will deliver it big time!

Over all, this was a great read, fast paced and not dragging. Abbi Glines is a talented writer and she doesn't disappoint. You'll just can't get enough of her stories. I definitely look forward to more of her books. I recommend Breathe, I recommend Abbi Glines. You surely don't want to miss one such talented author.

Book Review: BECAUSE OF LOW by Abbi Glines

Because of Low (Sea Breeze #2)
Author: Abbi Glines
Publication Date: February 7th 2012
Format: Kindle Edition
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Romance

Summary | Add to TBR
In my debut novel, Breathe, Sadie may have fallen in love with the teen rock star, Jax Stone, but readers fell head over heels for Marcus Hardy. This is his story…

Marcus Hardy had hoped to enjoy a year away at college while he put the summer he’d rather forget behind him. But instead, he’s jerked right back to the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama due to a family crisis. His dear ol' dad found himself a girlfriend only a few years older than Marcus. So now his sister needs help dealing with their mother who is mentally falling apart. The only bright spot to returning is the fascinating red head who sleeps over several times a week. The problem is she's sleeping in bed with his new roommate, Cage Watson.

Willow “Low” Foster needs a place to live. Running to Cage’s apartment every time her sister kicks her out isn’t exactly a long term solution. Juggling her courses at the local community college and a part time job doesn’t produce excess income. But Cage has a new roommate and suddenly sleeping over at her best friend’s apartment isn’t such a bad thing. Not when she gets to see those sexy green eyes of Marcus Hardy’s twinkle when he smiles at her like he wants her there.
Even though Cage seems a little territorial where Low is concerned, Marcus finds time to spend with Low without upsetting his roommate. Cage may use his small college baseball star persona to sleep with every hot female in his path but he’s still under the disillusion that when he’s through sowing his wild oats, he’s going to marry Low. Marcus intends to change that assumption for both Cage and Low. Until his carefully laid plans come crashing down with a revelation he never expected. He’ll have to choose between Low or his family. Because once the truth comes out.... there’s no other choice.
My Thoughts:

Oh my golly... just wow.

This wasn't the first time I read something by Abbi Glines. The first one was The Vincent Boys. Have you heard about that one? You should read it. Anyway, I became a fan of Glines after reading The Vincent Boys (which I loved! See my review here). And when I learned from a friend how much she enjoyed Because of Low, I immediately grabbed a copy (Thank you Jenny Vasquez for the recommendation) .  I know that I should've read Breathe (Sea Breeze #1), but I didn't realized that it's part of the series! Okay, too late for that, but it doesn't lessen my enjoyment, and to be honest, there was no spoiler in book #2 at all.

Oh, wait... where was I again? Oh yeah, I was supposed to write a review! =B

Let me begin with these lines from Marcus Hardy:
"I don't think I'm making myself very clear Low," he'd lowered his voice and the effect made goose bumps break out over my body. "I was only interested in one person at that bar last night. I only came to see one person," he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and softly caressed my earlobe before tracing the line of my jaw. " I was there for you."
If you've met and liked Marcus Hardy in Breathe, you'll surely fall head over heels with him in this book. Besides, it's his story. I felt sorry for him in Breathe because as we all know, he loved Sadie  but Sadie loves Jax. Marcus--the sweet, thoughtful, nice and handsome guy who protected and loved Sadie White in Breathe, is back. And he deserved an equally amazing girl like Sadie...

So here comes Low.
"She's been left her whole life. She's a good girl. Larissa adores her. Where her sister lacks in many honorable traits Willow seems to have them in abundance."
Meet Willow "Low" Foster. Who wouldn't love a girl like Low? She's everything a guy could ask for. She's gorgeous, strong, good-hearted and loving. People hurt her but she's so forgiving. She was being left all her life but she remains strong. Her sister kicked her out of the house except for the nights that Tawny needs her to babysit her one-year old daughter whom Low loves dearly. She always run to her best friend every time she needs a place to stay, and Cage always welcomed her with wide arms. He was her safe haven. He's the only person who stays with her when everybody left her. And that was until Willow meet Marcus.

There are so many things I loved about this book. I don't know how to say it all, but I think the author perfectly nailed it. The pacing of the story is perfect and there was no boring moment for me. I ate every word, I swooned big-time and I tensed a lot! I loved every part of this book and I really enjoyed how this book made me feel. It was very entertaining and there is nothing that I didn't like at all. The author successfully blended the right amount of everything I loved from a contemporary book--strong characters, beautiful setting, titillating romance, and exciting plot. It's like the author wrote this book for me. I truly enjoyed it.

If you like contemporaries with great love stories, gorgeous and swoon worthy boy, strong female lead, and supported by sometimes-crazy, most-of-the-times-funny, and all-time-dependable friends, then I bet you'll enjoy this book too. This story is full of family drama that will make you feel sad and hopeful at the same time. It has lots of romantic moments that will make you swoon to the bones. I know because I experienced it myself. Because of Low, I read in the toilet. Because of Low, I read in the car until I was dizzy enough to stop. Because of Low, I didn't finished the book I was supposed to read. Because of Low, I stayed awake until past two in the morning. And Because of Low, Abbi Glines became one of my favorite author.

I know that readers aren't all the same, but if you are like me who isn't a big fan of adult books, but is looking for a bit edgy kind of YA Contemporaries, then this might be a perfect book for you. If you read and enjoyed other books by Abbi Glines, I'm sure you'll love this too, maybe even more. When I finished this book, I grabbed Breathe immediately, that's how much I enjoyed Abbi Glines writing and her story, I just cant get enough of it. It's a great read and I totally loved it!

Book Review: THE VINCENT BOYS by Abbi Glines

The Vincent Boys
Author: Abbi Glines
Publication Date: October 12th 2011
Format: eBook
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Romance

Summary on Goodreads:
Being the good girl isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Ashton Gray has grown weary of playing the part to please her parents, and to be worthy of the town’s prince charming, Sawyer Vincent. Maybe That’s why she’s found herself spending time with Sawyer’s cousin, Beau, while he’s away for the summer camping with his family. Beau is nothing like her perfect boyfriend. He’s the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, dangerous in ways she’s only day dreamed about, and the one guy she should stay away from.

Beau never envied Sawyer his loving parents, his big nice home, or his position as quarterback. He loves him like a brother. Which is why he's tried everything in his power to keep his distance from Sawyer’s girlfriend. Even if he has loved her since the age of five, Ashton is Sawyer’s girl, so therefore she’s off limits. But when Sawyer leaves for the summer, Ashton, the one girl Beau would move Heaven and Earth for, decides she wants to get into trouble. Stabbing the one person who’s always accepted him and stood by him in the back, is the cost of finally holding Ashton Gray in his arms. Is she worth losing his cousin over?.... Hell Yeah. Add to TBR
My Thoughts:

I didn't expect to love this book so much. It was free during the time I downloaded it to my Kindle and the moment I started reading it, I was hooked and couldn't put it down. It was exhilaratingly fun and enjoyable! I want more of Ashton and the Vincent boys!

Cousins Sawyer and Beau Vincent were Ashon Gray's childhood best friends. They grew up and protected each other ever since they were five. And even from that time, Beau has always cared and loved Ashton until she became Sawyer's girlfriend. Since then, Beau and Ashton relationship grew apart despite the fact that they were practically the best of friends. For three years of Ashton's relationship with Sawyer, she tried to be good, to be descent, to be worthy of Sawyer's love and affection. She did her best to be the perfect girl for Sawyer--the good and the perfect (well, almost) of the two Vincent boys. Beau on the other hand, has always been the bad boy, the dangerous one. He was once her partner in crime, and he is the one who knows the real Ashton, the boy who love the girl she's trying to conceal. After spending time with Beau, Ash suddenly realized that she must have chosen the wrong Vincent boy after all...

There are lots of things I loved about this book. First of all, the characters. Ash is very real to me. She's an average girl whom you usually meet at school or in your neighborhood. She's not perfect, she's flawed, she has shortcomings, she has mistakes in life like the rest of us. The good thing about her is that she tried to fix things even though it would cost her her own happiness. She didn't deny her mistakes, she accepted the consequences and lived through it. That made me loved her despite of her weaknesses.

Sawyer and Beau are the best cousins ever! They loved each other like true brothers and I admired them for so many reasons. I don't want to spill anything about these two boys cos I don't want to spoil your future reading. You'll just have to find out for yourself. The two Vincent boys will make your heart go ponder and your stomach flutter, especially Beau Vincent. You wouldn't want to miss this guy. Your heart will ache for him, care for him, and you'll love him!

The setting and the plot are good and there was never a single moment that I got bored. I really appreciate the narrating style because it let me see both Ash and Beau's thoughts. I always liked the alternating POV style of writing. Overall, it was an entertaining read for me, and I enjoyed every single moment I had with this book. I just loved everything about it. The oh-so-sweet and oh-so-yummy Beau oh-so-sexy love story will keep your eyes on the book and your nose sticking on it too! The drama and the tension are so good, I didn't want to stop reading.

I just want to share a few of those memorable lines I quoted from the book:
I'd never envied anything of Sawyers. I loved him like a brother. He was the only family I truly loved... He'd always have the things I didn't have... but none of that had mattered because I had Ashton... She'd been my partner in crime... my soul mate. Then just like everything else in Saywer's perfect life he got my girl. The only thing I'd thought I could call mine had become his... - Beau
"Ash, I'm trying real hard to be good... Please remember I've got my limits and you studying my mouth like you want a taste is pushing me dangerously close to the edge of those limits." - Beau
"The real Ashton Gray is perfect and I'm crazy in love with her." - Beau
"I didn't ask for the perfect Ashton to be my girlfriend... I asked the only Ash I'd ever known... I was proud of the girl you had become... I let myself forget the other girl you once were. Beau didn't forget her." - Sawyer
Just once I wanted to be selfish and take what I wanted... I wanted to tell him I loved him... I wanted to claim Beau as mine but I couldn't do any of those things. - Ash
Those who enjoy YA contemporary with a sexy romance that might be suitable only for mature Young Adult readers, then go for this book. I enjoyed it so much and I want more!
