Q. Have you ever wanted the villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?
A. I honestly can't think of any villain whom I want to win at this time. Maybe because there really is no one in particular. I always wanted the "good" to win in all the books and even movies. There are times that the heroes/heroines are annoying, but I still want them to have their happily ever after in the end. So I guess, that would be my answer... for now =)
Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books. This is where book bloggers and book readers connect and support each other or just chat about books. This is super crazy fun and all readers and bloggers can join! If you want to know how to participate, just click the image above to visit Crazy for Books Blog.

“Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?”
My Answer:
My Answer:
I read mostly YA and I really enjoyed Paranormal, Dystopian and Chick-Lit Novels. So if the authors would stop writing those kind of books, maybe I would indulge more in Christian and Contemporary Fictions but I will surely miss YA. I don't know if reading and blogging will ever be the same for me since reading YA fictions was the reason I was encouraged to start blogging. I won't completely give-up reading but I'm not sure if blogging will still be enjoyable for me.
How about you? Do you think you will give up either blogging or reading?

ReplyDeleteI am a new follower and would love a follow back!
This really was a tough question!! I almost always want the good guys to win too- it's sort of the point! Unless the bad guy is the russian dude from Despicable Me. But that's sort of cheating. lol
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Christian fiction- have you read Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergen? It's Christian fiction mixed with YA AND fantasy? Crazy, right? Apparently every blogger ever is reading it right now too. :)
New follower, hopping through.

Just hopping through. A lot of people seem to strictly root for the good guys! Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Awesome answer!

I wouldn't be able to read any NEW books, but I would definitely re-read my entire collection over and over if paranormal reads disappeared forever. So sad to think such a horrible thing!

Old Follower :)
I would be so sad if they stopped writing YA books!! But, I would still have plenty to read. (Thank goodness it's not a real concern!!)
ReplyDeleteHi April, new follower stopping by! Love your blog ;)
ReplyDeleteI actually started blogging because of YA fiction too, so even though I wouldn't stop reading if YA fiction were no longer around, I don't know if I would continue blogging.... on the other hand, there are SO MANY YA books out there already written and published that I haven't read and reviewed yet, that I could probably keep going for quite some time without adding anything new!
You can see my FF post for this week at the link below-- have a great weekend!

I'm a HEA kind of reader too. I want stories to end happy and you can't do that with the villains winning unless it's meant to be that way.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many different things to read even if new books in a favorite genre stopped being published. Please come see what I would read.
ReplyDeleteI also just chose YA in general. As long as they were still YA books available I would be happy. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog :) I don't think I'd ever stop reading either.
ReplyDeleteNew follower :)
ReplyDeleteI would be sad if my fave genre were to vanish but I would make do and venture into diff territories..I hope it NEVER comes to that though :(
